Laymance wins Christmas card contest for the eighth time

Eilene Laymance, a resident at Life Care Center of Kirkland, Washington, is probably the most well-known resident artist among parent company Life Care Centers of America’s more than 200 buildings.

2015 marks the eighth year Laymance has won the company’s Christmas card contest for the Northwest Division, which covers Washington, Oregon, Idaho and Utah. The winning card designs from each of Life Care’s divisions are printed and distributed to facilities and regional offices throughout the company.

Kirkland receives Silver National Quality Award

Life Care Center of Kirkland, Washington, recently received the 2015 Silver – Achievement in Quality Award from the American Health Care Association and National Center for Assisted Living.

Life Care Center of Kirkland was one of only 125 organizations nationwide and six in Washington to receive this level of recognition this year.
